I've installed a new Virtual disk volume of three 2 TB SAS drives (RAID5) on our HP SAN.So I've 4TB as available disc capacity from this LUN. Now I was ignorant of the fact that the maximum size of a datastore for ESXi 4.1 is 2TB-512 bytes. So when i added this new LUN of 4TB to an existing Datastore on ESXi 4.1.0,only 1.64 TB was showing up as available capacity as against to 4TB or 3.64 TB. Now i want to delete this new LUN from this Datastore and go back to HP Storage Management Utility to recreate smaller i.e. two 2TB LUNS. However the problem i have is,I dont know how to delete this new LUN from the datastore to which i added this without loosing the Datastore or Data. In my case, I had a datastore 300gb of 1.09 TB and I added this new LUN of 1.64 TB to this Datastore.But i want to delete this LUN from Datastore. Thanks, Clement
