ESXi NFS or iSCSI Storage : Good Options

Hello All

I am looking for a NFS based storage for my new site, iSCSI i am open too. I do not want to invest in VSAN as that will mean buy new hardware, License

Netapp is too expensive

So what other best alternative to Netapp you folks  can suggest ?

I am using ESXi 6.7 with ent +

This is site with 3 ESXi with 50 odd general purpose VMs like AD , monitoring & Other infra vms
