Can not delete DATASTORE in vCenter

I have a 2 host vmware environment, only 1 is connected to vcenter.

Due to storage problems, we upgraded the storage for both ESXI hosts.

Then wanted to add the second host to vcenter.

I removed 2 SSD's which were used as datastores in host 1 and connected them to host 2.

vCenter shows that the datastores are still attached to host 1 with a RED ICON and the word (unaccessible) next to them.

I tried deleting them, unmounting them, nothing works. NO virtual machines are linked or have data on these datastores.

I tried SSH and connected to host 1; went to the vmfs/datastore directory to manually unmount them.

It resulted in a FAIL message that said these datastores were busy.

I entered host 1 via web client and these datastores do not appear here. Only in vcenter.

I tried to add host 2 to vcenter so that the missing datastores may resolve this but failed as the host had datastores with the same name and UUID.

The problem seems to be with vcenter as both hosts are properly displaying the datastores correctly when connecting directly to them.

But in order to connect my second host to vcenter, I need to delete the datastores on host 2. Which again, is impossible.

Everytime I try to delete or unmount a datastore on host 2 (the SSD's I moved from host 1), it returns a fail because the drive is in use.

THE DRIVES ARE NOT IN USE OR BUSY....

So my question is:

1. How do I delete the 'fake' datastores in vcenter (the SSD's were taken out)?

2. How do I delete the datastores in host 2 (re-partitioning, deleting and unmounting all do not work and only unregistered VM's remain, the datastores are NOT in use)

THANKS!
