Hi,
I have a server and that’s running esxi 4.1 with a real IP address.
Im using one of its virtual machines to run vCenter with NAT IP address.
Every min or so the host disconnects from the vCenter.
Im looking for a solution to this problem for 3 day and cant find one that will solve it!!
I know it’s a NAT problem because when I assign a real IP address to the vCenter machine, the connection is solid!!
The things ive done so far:
- Open all ports on the firewall.
- Configured vpxa.cfg on the host to: <serverIp>[vCenter NAT_IP_address]</serverIP>
<preserveServerIp>true</preserveServerIp> - The Manuals say to do: “service vmware-vpxa restart” but I always get: “not found” (I cant understand why I don’t have this option or any service commands) so I did service.sh restart.
To configure the host im using PUTTY.
Please please please help my….
Many thanks ofer.
