ESXi4 crash/freeze -> VM shown as Unknown(invalid) in Inventory, now message appears: Cannot open the disk or one of the snapshot disks it depends on. Reason: Invalid argument.

our VMware ESXi 4 freezes ,so i had to reboot the server.

after that two of our virtual machines, both in the same datastore (WindowsServer2003) were shown aus "Uknown(invalid)",so i removed both entries from inventory,

then i created new virtual machines with the existing vmdk's(i had to do this because the old .vmx file was corrupted)

now when i try to power on these virtual machines , i got following error message:

"Cannot open the disk '/vmfs/volumes/4d51619b-b6fee610-e8a0-001cc4e01dda/Mai-nServer_250/MainServer_250.vmdk' or one of the snapshot disks it depends on. Reason: Invalid argument." see screenshot

also the downloading from datastore-folder where the virtual machine is stored does not work , see screenshot
