Hello

I would like to use my virtual appliance dataontap from Netapp Communities tar file.

From their installation guide, they just suggest to put this tar file on datastore.

This tar file contains files below:

DataONTAP.vmdk

DataONTAP.vmx

DataONTAP-flat.vmdk

DataONTAP-nvram.vmdk

DataONTAP-nvram-flat.vmdk

DataONTAP-s001.vmdk through DataONTAP-s126.vmdk (126 disk files)

DataONTAP-sim.vmdk

DataONTAP-var.vmdk

DataONTAP-var-flat.vmdk

I put this file from vsphere on datastore, and extract it from ssh connexion on esxi with tar command.

All files are now visibles from putty connexion on esxi

1/ But when i browse datastore, i can't see all vmdk files. (it missing 126 disk files)

2/ When i Power On, this virtual machine, i have this error "DataONTAP-sim.vmdk file not found on /vmfs/volumes....../"

But this file exist on the path specified from error.

Configuration:

Esxi 5.1, datastore NFS.

Standalone node (no cluster)

No vcenter

Datastore space are free and available.

Checksum  for this tar file are OK.

Many Thanks

Regards
