The SQL server that we use for one of our vCenter servers (4.1) went down hard, and for various reasons, it won't be back up for several days. What are my options for managing the cluster in the meantime?
1. Temporarily add the cluster to another running vCenter server
2. Create new database on another running SQL server and use the same vCenter server
3. ?
What are some ramifications for these options, and what would be the most recommended method, factoring ease of setup, temporary workaround, and SRM implications? Thank you.
