we are working with ESXi v 6.5 and we are trying to disable HyperThreading on a per VM. We read somewhere that this functionality has been removed from version 6.5, but we received feedback from other colleagues who say that it is still possible to disable HT on a single VM.
As to confirm the last information, we found this KB: Hyperthreading and ESXi Hosts, which advice balancing the cluster otherwise there will be losses of performances. The question is: how to disable HT on a single VM? We can't find the setting anywhere. In less recent ESXI versions the setting was available.
