Hi,
I am seeking help for an issue which we came across in our environment. Let me explain the issue:
WE have an esxi 4.1 u3 cluster in our environment. Few weeks back one of the esxi host in that cluster was rebooted unexpectedly causing the vms to be restarted to the other hosts in the cluster as part of HA failover. On further investigation one of the memory module on that host is found faulty. So we have replaced the memory module and placed the host back into production. Now whenever any windows 2k8 VM is migrated to this host is getting crashed with BSOD error 0x000000d1 - storport.sys.
But when these vms are migrated to the any other hosts in the cluster then they are running fine without any issue. These win2k8 vms are updated with latest patch level(Until February 2014). Since these vms are crashing whenver they are migrated to this host pin points that this particular host is having some issue. But I am not able to figure out what is the cause of the issue here. I have cross checked the firmware and drivers version of this host with the remaining hosts in the cluster and are found to be same.
Any help will be appreciated.
