Dear users of VMWARE,
I run a esx(i) server: 6.7.0 Update 1 (Build 10302608)
There are two virtual machines:
- DOS 6.22
- Application what communicate trough serialport RS232 with modbus protocol;
- Windows server 2012
- Application what communicatie trough TCP/IP with modbus protocl
Normal we use a serial to TCP/IP convertor, but this will be a test situation. My question is, is it possible to make a virtual adapter what works like a RS232 to TCP/IP convertor?
So that the DOS machine has a virtual comport what is connected to a virtual TCP/IP convertor?
