I have inherited a Vsphere ESXI server at one of my clients. It really hasnt been used for 2 or 3 years, but recently we decided to run a couple of VM servers. The problem is they are running etremely slowly The Vsphere set up is as follows
VMware ESXi version 5.1.0 build 1065491
VSphere Client version 5.1.0 build 1065491
The server is licenced for VMware Vsphere hypervisor 2 physical CPU's
My questions are
Would I be able to pay for a one time support call to up update the software to thecurrent versions, or can you point me to the current version downloads and installation instructions particularly of the ESXi back end?
Would purchasing more pysical CPU licences improve the performance and if so how much do they cost?
