Hello, we might add a Dell Compellent array to a vCluster that is working with 3PAR arrays. I know it is possible and I already went through this:
ESXi Hosts and Multiple Storage Arrays
but I would like to hear from anybody who has had experience of different array vendors attached to the same vCluster. If it has been a nightmare.. or the contrary... I'm not big fan of such initiative, I'm thinking of what mentioned in the vmware doc above and also the fact that the kernel will have to take care of different drivers for the storage I/O at the same time...
anyone?
