one 3T RDM in EMC SAN mapped to VM1(windows2012) of VMWare6.0 platform. A incident operation to just load the volume of RDM to other hosts. However, no further operation of the new LUN of RDM. No format,no setup...
The VM1 prompted can't start on, then began to remove the RDM disk from VM1 configuration and OS started.
Next, unload the lun from other hosts. Re-mapping the volume as RDM to VM1. It always prompt to format the RDM before using the space.
Question is how about the previous data in RDM ? is it still there? Any solution to get the data in RDM?
