I have a dilema how to do sniffing traffic. I have a VM with two interface. One interface is with ip address a second I will use for sniffing.
On host I use one port which is connected with span port on switch.
I create a new vDS , assigned uplink port which is connected with switch. A create a port group and add second network interface of VM to it.
I try several rules with port mirroring but Wireshark didn't catch what supposed to.
