Hi all,
I am currently documenting and planning this upgrade, after deploying the new vSphere Replication Appliance from OVF Template via the 8.1.1 ISO, when the VM is powered on and I select the Upgrade option, VMWare docs states the below:
Upgrade | Continue with the upgrade of the vSphere Replication appliance. During the upgrade process, the existing configuration of the vSphere Replication appliance is migrated to the new vSphere Replication appliance. After successful upgrade, all replications continue working. |
So does the old host name, IP Address etc get migrated to new the appliance?
And if so, does the old configurations get wiped from the old appliance and leaving it basically blank?
