Configuring an ESXi Host Default Gateway

Hi,

I am trying to add in another ESXi Host into an existing set of servers. The previous administrator had the management network default gateway configured on a different subnet to the hosts IP Address for example it would look like this:

IP Address: 10.80.200.150

Subnet: 255.255.255.0

Default Gateway: 10.80.201.254

After doing a bit of digging I have worked out that the Default Gateway 10.80.201.254 is a separate subnet for vMotion traffic. I am trying to configure the same settings for a new ESXi Server but when I try and configure the default gateway it reverts to the correct subnet i.e the subnet that the management IP address is on.

To me this is a tad strange, is there anything I can do to get this new Host to have this strange setting or is it best to go and reconfigure all of these hosts management networks?
