Hi all,
We had a DVS configured with 4 uplink. 2 of these uplink didnt not have a physical adapter.
We have a port group for VLAN XX mapped on these 4 uplink ( all 4 are active ) and routing is based on port ID.
My question : can we have some network outage on some vm because of that kind of configuration ?
What i understand on routed based on virtual port ID is that vm1 use upnlink 1 vm2 use uplink 2 vm3 uplink 3 vm4 uplink4 vm5 uplink1...
What happened when an uplink has no physical adapter attached ?
If you have a vmware article on that subject i'll take !
