Working on a server, new install of ESXi v6.7. Everything seemed to be going well, had the server in maintenance mode so I could work on some settings and reboot without worrying about VMs, when, after a reboot, the datastore no longer appears. The system boots from the virtual drive upon which the datastore lives, but no datastores show up in the list. Clicking on the orphaned VM definitions brings the following error: "Unfortunately, we hit an error we weren't expecting." No code given. See attachments for screen grabs.
Any ideas? I can reinstall, but moving these huge VMs was painful and I don't want to go through it again.
