We have netcool alert ticketing system enabled on all of my esxi infrastructure. so when ever during maintenance window if i reboot my host it will trigger alert followed by Remedy Ticket.
we have something called host suppression is in placed here in if we suppress host during maintenance window and when host rebooted it will not trigger alert or Remedy ticket.
I would like to know if we have any script in place where in before i take a host reboot or maintenance mode , i should ask in a window if i have suppressed the host.
