Hi All,
Initially i have 10 host in the cluster without VLAN trunked to the management port.
After around a month we decided to have VLAN trunked to the management port and enabled the same. I logged in to the esxi console and mentioned the VLAN id in the VLAN option and it worked good it was able to ping after i gave VLAN ID.
But when i do a reboot to the esxi and esxi comes back .. but i could not able to ping it. Untill i have to login esxi console and restart management network then only its pinging.
Why should i every time login and restart management network.
Suggest guys if i need to do some changes here..
