Adding new array to ESXi 4.1 server

Hello,

I'm looking at adding a new array to an ESXi 4.1.0 server. Is it possible to build the array and add it without rebooting the host? The server is an HP ML350 G5. I've installed ESXi 4.1 on a hard disk, however I did not install any HP driver packages. Is there something I could install from within ESXi that would give me the capabilities of array configuration, etc.?
