So I created a new VM and attached the existing VMDKs to it. There's a snapshot on the old VM from June 8. I didn't delete the old VM (though the VMDKs are not attached to it). When I powered up the new VM it appears to be as it was on June 8th!
The VMDKs from the old VM are in the same folder on the same datastore as they were. The new VM is in its own folder on the same datastore as the old VM.
How do I get the changes from June 8 until now? Is it gone?? I sure hope not.
