I have an openvpn server running on Ubuntu 16.04 vm in esxi and cannot access it from outside my network. I have disabled the esxi firewall (esxcli network firewall set --enabled false) and have turned on promiscuous mode in efforts to try to gain access to the vpn from the outside, but nothing has worked. Is there some other networking/firewall config that should be done?
I've opened the necessary port on my router.
