I'm relative new to vmware and ESXI. After quite a year of successfully running ESXI 6.5 with 6 VM's on an Fujitsu workstation I changed to an Dell Poweredge.
Because I'm a noob and had to change it as fast as possible, I removed the HDD from the workstation an installed it on my new Poweredge (created 3 virtual drives for the 3 HDD). Due to the fact, that on my workstation only worked an Dell customized ISO of ESXI the System booted up perfektly, but no datastore was recognized. In the webclient I can see the HDD's, but no datastores.
Before doing something wrong and swipe all data, I'll ask the pro's what I can do to rebuild the datastores without loss of data.
