Hi there.
This is a 6.5.0 ESXi standalone host (HP ProLiant DL360p Gen8, Xeon CPU E5-2630, 16Gb RAM) running just 1 CentOS 6.9 virtual machine guest.
There's almost no system load as this Linux VM is hosting a very quiet corosync/pacemaker/drbd secondary node.
Problem: The virtual machine reboots roughly every 15-30 minutes. No relevant messages in VM's syslog files. Just a time gap between regular entries and kernel boot messages.
This virtual machine is an exact copy of another one, taken from an identical 6.5.0 ESXi standalone host, same hardware. It was imported into ESXi by following this VMware Knowledge Base
(Section: Creating a new virtual machine and copying or moving the virtual disks)
I've been looking at the VM log file and found "vcpu-0| I125: CPU reset: hard (mode 2)" entries here and there, which relate directly to the time the reboot events took place.
Would you kindly have a look at the attached log file in search of any problems I might be overlooking?
That's from today, when it looks like the VM rebooted just 3 or 4 times along the day instead of the usual 40-50.
Thank you so much.
