I have ESXi 6.5 loaded on a Supermicro e300. I'm not using vSphere for it, just the Embedded Host Client. Every time I create a new Virtual Machine, the console just stops at some point and an arrow appears over it as if it's a video ready to be played. An error appears on the EHC that says "Failed to Power on Virtual Machine...." (this is after its powered on) After clicking on the arrow, and hitting Enter a few times, then it starts to go and show output again. It seems to still be installing in the background though. If I open it in an new Tab, or new Window, it just freezes after a few minutes. I have to click out of them and get a new one. The installs take so long and usually don't finish correctly. I have to delete the VM and start over. I've only gotten one working VM out of about 12 tries. The Virtual Machines are Cisco CallManager servers.
I've converted some VMs from Workstation, on another computer, to this one and they seem to run fine, but having trouble creating new VMs.
Anything I can change to improve this situation so that I can have one console up and monitor the install without constantly closing and opening up windows, tabs and consoles?
