We're running ESXi 5.5U3 and just recently migrated to vCenter 6U3b. We're running a UCS infrastructure and during UCS firmware upgrades when the A side or B side HBAs drop we're seeing these lost access to volume events. Looking at the logs they're usually lost and restored within a few seconds, but I don't remember ever seeing those before during UCS upgrades. Could be something new that was introduced in an ESXI update or vCenter update. Was just curious if anyone knows if that's normal behavior? Should a path failover be accompanied by a lost access to volume event? Anyone getting the same thing during UCS firmware / HBA failover?
